why we love her…

there used to be a time when extreme sports like snowboarding and skateboarding were thought to be reserved for boys… or girls that can beat boys up. not anymore. the extreme sports world is now filled with girls, and not just girls, but also girlie girls, and some crazy beautiful girls too!

Torah Bright is for sure one of those crazy beautiful girls. there is a reason she models for Roxy, and why every snowboarding loving kid has a crush on her… she’s adorable! what we really love about her is her positive attitude, and the way she always carries herself with respect for her competitors, and with grace in the face of victory or defeat. when she won gold at the Olympics, she was genuinely grateful and excited about achieving her dreams.

we also love when girls break down barriers, when they follow their passion in life, and when they use their motivation and determination to create the life they want. she is so talented, and does amazing things on a snowboard that we could only dream about! she even won the gold medal in the face of several adversities. Torah had just had shoulder reconstruction in 2009, and had also suffered two concussions from falls in practice in the three weeks before the Olympics. we think Torah is gorgeous on the outside, and glows from the inside.
