most of the time, going to the lake or the beach is a casual, loose-haired, throw on a bikini and shorts affair. but, once in a while you may have a beach party, a lakeside bar-b-que, or a poolside soiree where you’ll want to dress it up and doll it out a little more, so we put together some inspiration on how to pull together a fashion filled swimsuit look.

the movie Soul Surfer is sooooo inspiring! it’s based on the true story of surfer girl Bethany Hamilton, who was attacked by a shark at 13 years old, almost died, lost her arm, and a month later was back in the ocean surfing again. she’s now a professional surfer and proving every day that faith and persistence can conquer any challenge.

helllllla hot air balloons at the largest hot air balloon festival in the world, lots of dance culture with everything from traditional native american style to ballet, The Rio Grande river, amazing sun-to-snow desert weather, and Neil Patrick Harris was totally born there.

have we been there?

krissie lived in a near by town called Los Alamos for a little bit when she was a kid, so she remembers all the big pretty balloons!
