Shakira wrote her first song when she was only 8 years old. she then recorded her first album at 13! it seems she has always been super driven, which we think earns her major ‘girl power’ points. now that Shakira is all grown up, she’s selling albums all over the world, winning Grammys, performing live on everything from the American Music Awards to Dancing With The Stars, and even at The Presidential Inaugural Celebration. On top of all that, she’s collaborated with major artists such as Wyclef, Beyoncé, and for her new album she co-wrote her song ‘She Wolf ‘ with Sam Endicott from The Bravery, and recorded with Lil’ Wayne for her hot new single ‘Give It Up To Me’.

Shakira founded her own charity called the Pies Descalzos Foundation, or, ‘Bare Feet Foundation’. the foundation focuses on providing education opportunities for poor children all over Colombia. she has major hands on involvement in the organization, raising funding and awareness, donating her own resources, and even spending time with the children herself. we think she’s awesome and truly a pretty princess!
. we’re into a bazillion bands and artists, but Jason Wade has hands down, the hottest voice in all of music. ever. no contest. ever. pretty sure every girl wishes they had a voice like that singing them to sleep at night. Ok, he’s insanely cute too.
