so you’re having a halloween party and you want a mix tape that will have everyone amped up and dancing with some 2011 must-haves, but you don’t want to just fill it up with the typical top 40 run down. here’s our edge infused playlist that pulls from some of our fav electronic vibed indie pop tunes, mixes it up with some current chart toppers, pulls in a few tweaked versions of the familiars, and takes it home with some star gazing mood music…happy halloween!!!

we’re total suckers for this stuff so this wont likely be our only mix like this, but for now, we each picked out 5 songs that make us crush – melt – swoon…all that kinda gushy stuff

ok. so you’re having a halloween party and you need an awesome music mix. you want people to dance and have fun, but you also want it to rock a little, you want it to be a little funky, and you want some new shiz mixed in with some old favorites. basically… a funky, rockin’, dance party mix that everyone can have fun to.

“Something Old, Something New, and Something Borrowed”

what’s the theme?

we each picked out two old songs, two new songs, and two borrowed songs that we love.

the rules were that the the first eight we picked are old songs that had to be released in 2005 or before, the eight new songs had to be 2008 or newer, and the last eight had to be two cover songs each.
