why we’re buzzing…
last friday night, was the last friday night, of Friday Night Lights, and there are sadfaces from California to Tennessee 
. fer sure one of the awesomest and most underrated shows, ever. of all time. it had some of the best written characters, and most inspiring moments in our memories of prime time drama, and we’re already suffering from Texas-sized withdrawals.

we are all football cheerleaders, so this show has been like a real life part of our lives. but even if you've never pumped up a sideline or laced up for a game, this show could pretty much motivate you to train for the Olympics with an Eric Taylor locker room speech, make you think you'd live on a hunting ranch for the rest of your life just so you could fall in love with a redneck named Riggins, and practically convince you to move to nowhere Texas just so Tami Taylor could be your guidance counselor.

maybe it was the "friday night time slot" curse, or maybe it was someone evil at NBC secretly plotting against them, but the show has always been 2 snaps away from being cut from the lineup, and it was definitely cancelled way before the sun was ready to set on Dillon, Texas. we would've watched this show until Gracie was a gramma.
but as much as we like to throw a temper fit about the so-soon shut down, we suppose, that things left in their prime get to be remembered in their perfection. our only complaint about the "the-end" of it all, is the lack of happy ever after to our Tim & Lyla love story. we'll just pretend in our minds that Lyla comes back in a few years once Tim's dream home is built :).
