unfortunately, Emma's line with People Tree didn't sell well and she's no longer promoting the brand, but we still think her idea of inspiring young fashionistas to check out socially conscious fashion was awesome, and we still think People Tree is awesome! their stuff is crazy cute!!!! check it to the right ---->>>>>

even though Emma's clothing line may not have caught on, her efforts weren't lost on us 4 girls. before People Tree caught our eye, we weren't that clued in on Fair Trade fashion, but their clothing totally opened our eyes to all the amazing changes Fair Trade companies are creating, and we hope the mainstream fashion world catches on more and more.

• pay fair wages to their employees everywhere in the world
• promote sustainability with their business
• they put money into local communities where their product is produced
• they provide training, and in general, make an intentional effort to help improve the lives of the people who make their product as opposed to taking advantage of them.

anyways Emma...we heard your message and we hope you give it another try in the future! :)
