Jenna has been a couple of times, and the rest of us just wish we could go :D.
why we wanna go there...
if you check out our blog very much, you already know we are complete suckers for anywhere with super big mountains and grande landscapes. Jenna says Vancouver is breathtaking, lively, and crazy exciting.
we hear it has amazing nightlife. there are concert venues, casinos, dance clubs, restaurants, and live theatre. we tend to want to go places because we're drawn to the vibe they have, and the energy in Vancouver just seems really upbeat and active and full of life.
it's also a mega big film production city, so there is always a movie or tv show being taped there. that brings a ton of celebrities, and visitors, and that just makes the city seem really kinetic. we like kinetic :D.
what we wanna do in Vancouver, BC Canada...
Granville Island
it's an entire island of shopping. what could be better than that?! there are stores, places to eat, performers to see, and there is even a huge indoor playground for kids! haha we're so there.
Clubbing
we love dancing. going dancing in a high energy city, with lights and music and people everywhere, basically sounds pretty awesome.
Vancouver Snowboarding
we would for sure take a couple of days to venture outside the city and go play in the amazing mountains. there are 3 resorts (Cypress, Seymour, and Grouse) that are only about a half-hour from downtown Vancouver.
Professional Hockey Game
we would have to see the Vancouver Canucks play. Jenna did this when she was there and she said it was really rowdy and fun haha.
Stanley Park
it's over 1,000 acres of trees, wildlife, lagoons, beaches, and rose gardens, mixed in with gift shops, places to eat, a water park, and tons of other fun stuff.
Live Concert
the have a huge arena called 'Rogers Arena' that would be an epic place to go see someone huge like Kings of Leon or Taylor Swift. but we hear Vancouver has a pretty active underground music scene, so we'd for sure check out a real rock lounge like 'The Morrissey'.
Vancouver Fashionista
Vancouver is a culture mecca, and they have their own fashion week, so keep it warm and classy by day, and hot and trendy by night...
