We have been to some beautiful places, but there are so many beautiful places everywhere left to see. We're excited about the places we've explored and love to imagine the places we could someday go, and dream about the things we'd do if we went. We also love to get into the fashion vibe of each destination, and find the perfect outfits for our dream vacations.

what it’s famous for…

two of the world’s tallest roller coasters, the movie ‘Tommy Boy’ takes place there, Marilyn Monroe’s character from ‘Some Like It Hot’ was from Sandusky, and former Raiders coach Jon Gruden was born there (krissie and jenna are raiders fans, so they think that’s neat haha).

have we been there?

yup! when we were all 4 still living in Nashville, one of our other friends took us back to her hometown for a summertime Sandusky vacay.

why we loved Sandusky...

our trip was unique because we went with a girl who had grown up in Sandusky, before she moved to Nashville her sophomore year of high school. she'd lived in Sandusky for all of her life before that, so she knew everything about everywhere haha, which was fun because she took us to all of her favorite places. going back to someone's hometown with them, and memory-laning it let's you get to know them in a fun new way.

when to go to Sandusky...

for sure in the summertime. all the fun stuff to do in Sandusky is outdoors, and it's wayyyyy too cold in the winter haha.

who this vacay is for...

kid-at-heart girls... ya know, girls who love roller coasters, amusement parks, playing at the beach, and taking a few days to just run around and play.

what to do in Sandusky...

» get crazy at Cedar Point Amusement Park

it's hands down, full on, no question, the fiercest amusement park in the USA. with 2 of the tallest roller coasters in the world, Cedar Point is def not for wussies and scaredy kids. the "Millennium Force" is so high that you can see Canada from the top of the first drop. no literally, you look to your left when you're on top of the roller coaster, and you see Canada.

» rent a beach cottage

we stayed with our friend's gramma for half of the trip, and then for our last couple of days there we rented a beach cottage across Sandusky Bay at South Beach Resort. it's this super cute little family style cottage resort where you can just chill out and relax easy-breezy style.

» get some local pizza

we ate at a local pizza place called Chet & Matt's Pizza... soooo yummy! it's a super fun place to play some video games, watch some sports, and have an awesome lunch!

it's definitely a "family town" so dress cute, comfy, beachy, casual, and have fun with bright and cheery colors.
