why we’re buzzing…
adrenaline. adventure. nature. excitement. fun.
have we done it?
ashlee has. the rest of us totally want to someday. we all have pretty big adventure streaks, but this one is actually pretty scary to us. water is unpredictable… and powerful… and well, cold haha! but we still want to try it!

in the group, atleast one us and sometimes all of us, have tried bungee jumping, skydiving, paragliding, cliff jumping, and a ton of other pretty crazy things. but, ashlee is the only one of us that has tried white water rafting.
we really are pretty game to try adventurous things, but when it comes to the idea of being wildly thrown down a canyon bend in tons of aggressive water… the rest of us actually find that darn intimidating haha. it’s the drowing thing – a little scary yo. but we still want to try it someday, and we were pretty suprised at all the places in the USA you can do it! we picked out some of the places that look they would be amazing to go rafting at…
River Rafting Adventures
Oregon – Rogue River
Oregon is a huge river rafting destination. there are a few major river rafting spots in Oregon, but the Rogue River is the one we want to try. it passes by Crater Lake National Park – which is amazing, and goes through the Rogue River National Forest. on this trip, we hear you stop at pretty beaches, and see adorable wildlife.

California – Merced River
krissie lived in Yosemite for a little bit when she was little, so she used to play in Merced River, which is right outside Yosemite National Park. that whole area is breathtaking, and we’d love to go rafting where krissie used to wear her water wings haha.

Arizona – Grand Canyon
river rafting on the Colorado River in one of the most incredible places on earth… what could be more awesome?! you go for like a whole week, and you camp, and they feed you, and you live in the canyon for a few days. sound totally adventurous and amazing.

Idaho – Salmon River
we have already been suprised at how beautiful Idaho is, and we had no idea! the Salmon River Rafting Trip boasts “pine forests and granite mountains”… sounds perfect.

Colorado – Arkansas River
the Arkansas River… in Colorado? yeah haha confusing, but true. this sounds like the scariest one eek! anyways… when we get brave enough we want to tackle this one. maybe we’ll try one of the other rivers first, and build our courage up
