why we're crushing...

we love bands that create beautiful music, with beautiful lyrics, and gush inspiration. Deas Vail is amazing in the way bands like 'Mae' and 'Days Away' are amazing. their songs reach into your soul and make you want to take on the universe. the music is ambiance mixed with positivity and pure passion.

we're also completely amped on the fact that the keys in this band are courtesy of Laura Blaylock - yup - a girl :D. any girl that rocks in an amazing band goes on our superhero list for sure.

love meets creativity...

with Deas Vail, love either breeds creativity, creativity breeds love... or all of the above. in 2007, Laura and singer Wes got married. awwwwwwz. aside from having major cute factor, the love story seems to infect their music with a brilliant perspective. since they've been married, they have released the albums 'White Lights' and 'Birds And Cages', which produced two of our fav Deas Vail songs, 'Last Place' and 'Excuses'.

when we first started crushing...

well, as the timeline tells, back in 2007 when Wes and Laura were falling in love, we were falling in love with a song called 'Rewind' off of 'All The Houses Look The Same'. still hands down our very favorite Deas Vail track.
