why we’re buzzing…
it’s pretty normal that people are valued for being smart, powerful, "important", attractive, good at sports, famous, popular… but for us girls, we feel like it’s just as important for us to choose to be kind in our lives.
choosing to be kind...
it's not just the obvious "idea" of kindness kind of stuff, like charity work...it's little, less obvious moments we might sometimes miss...
- like if we are waiting in line at the store... we realize that waiting in line isn't a big drama - it's just life... so we're patient, we smile, we say thank you.
- when we find ourselves feeling judgment towards other people... we try to choose not to judge them, and just be compassionate instead.
- we don't waste energy bickering with people in our lives... we make them feel loved instead.
- we don't ever want to be catty or cut someone down... we think about how words can break someone, and remind ourselves who we really want to be.
- when people just need to talk, we take the time just to listen.
kindness is something we are given opportunities to choose, all around us, everyday. :)
