hahaha, we wanted a Christmas quote so we could be all “holiday-ish”, and when we found this one it totally made us laugh, but we agree with it too.

there are people that try to make other people feel bad about making christmas fun and light – and "superficial". but we think it’s supposed to be about joy and celebration – isn’t getting things you wish for about joy?

i totally spoil my nephews at Christmas – like ridiculously. I get them one big thing, and like a ton of other little things so they have like a big bunch of presents to open – and none of it’s useful, lol. they are toddlers, not grown-ups! i just want them to have fun and be super excited

we’re not saying don’t give to those in need or be charitable on Christmas, we just feel like kids getting to be young, and do things just for fun, is just as valid and important. this quote probabaly isn’t supposed to be this deep, but it has a bigger meaning to me – like life doesn’t have to be about fighting against something negative to be important. i believe that celebrating life is why we’re here.
