Music. Dance. Live.
pretty thoughts…
Music. Dance. Live.
why we’re buzzing…
this past month has been SO amazing for us. we got to see one of our favorite bands ever, ‘Mae’, live, and we got to go to the ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Tour. music and dance are such a huge part of all of our lives, and getting to do these things has had all of us girls on an unbelievably inspired high.
we wanted to share our happy faces and maybe inspire some of YOU to remember to… Enjoy Some Music, Get Up and Dance, and Get Out and Live.

Music.
enjoy your music
'Mae' is a band that has been a magical part of our lives for years. before we had driver's licenses and before we had our first kisses, there was Mae. we first saw them live at the Nashville Teen Center, Rocketown, when they were opening up for Something Corporate, and we've been obsessed with their beautiful melodies and passionate lyrics ever sense that night.
Mae is one of those bands that have been there for us through heartbreak, drama, in times of desperate need for inspiration, and in the best times ever of feeling young and alive, and like the world is filled with endless possibility. they are an unforgettable part of the soundtrack of our lives.
this year Mae announced that they are embarking on their last tour as a band, and going on an indefinite hiatus. we knew we had to see them live one last time. ashlee and cameron got to see the band in Nashville again, and krissie and jenna drove to San Francisco to see them at a small venue with only about 275 kids, where we felt like we were completely connected to every stranger in the room. both nights were brilliant, amazing, and will be burned in hearts forever. we didn't just listen to our cd's, we lived our music.
Dance.
get up and dance
even though krissie is the dance princess of the group, we are all dance obsessed, and we are all super obsessed with 'So You Think You Can Dance'. we all went to the tour for the first time last year, and we all had to go back this year fer sure.
we can't even tell you how much more amazing these superstars are live. amazing, amazing, and totally amazing. they make you laugh, cry, and freak out when they come dangerously close to the end of the stage on a tumbling pass, haha. krissie got to see her dance idol, Allison Holker, live for the first time this tour and she was like a little girl seeing Santa Claus.
we're so stoked this show has taken off because dancers and dance fans finally have these awesome opportunities to get out and experience our passion in person. if you ever have a chance to go see the tour, don't even think twice, just do it, you'll be supa happy you did.
Live.
how do you enjoy your music?
what bands have changed your life? our Mae concert tickets set us back 14 tiny bucks. we love seeing bands live, and if you want to be extra inspired, we say make the splurge and go for it! go see the bands you love live, and create unforgettable memories. enjoy your music in your face, all around you, and with other people who love it too.
do you get up and dance?
even if you are not a "dancer", dancing makes you feel free. we say, get up and dance any way you can. take a class, go out dancing with your friends, learn a dance routine off of YouTube... just get up and move.
make sure you live...
it's way too easy to get caught up in school, jobs, being on the computer, watching TV, and living your life like groundhog day. we just wanted to remind everyone to take time for the inspired experiences in life where you get out and live things in person. music and dance are the basis of some of our most inspired experiences, so that's our pretty thoughts for the moment... enjoy your music, get up and dance, get out and live.
